Surrealism amid the sands of Egypt

    Expand/collapse
DescriptionSurrealism amid the sands of Egypt. Futuristic computer programming, the pyramids of ancient Egypt, the death of pop king Michael Jackson and the spectre of swine flu all coalesced bizarrely in July last year for third-year Lincoln University Software and Information Technology students, Michael Trengrove, Graham Smart and Chun Ling (Asa) Wong. The team see their software as being useful in developing countries where computer capacity is under-utilised due to literacy issues.AuthorIan CollinsPeopleMichael Trengrove | Graham Smart | Chun Ling (Asa) WongPersonMichael TrengroveGraham SmartChun Ling (Asa) WongOrganisationLincoln UniversityDate2010KeywordsFuturistic computer programming2009 Microsoft Imagine CupMicrosoft OlympicsLearnITuniversal educationliteracy learning softwareFilenameSurrealism amid the sands of EgyptSourceLandforms 2010 pages 42-45.DepartmentDepartment of Applied ComputingFaculty / Research CentreFaculty of Environment, Society & DesignItem Reference0001290
