    Realising the potential of Woolston

    Expand/collapse
DescriptionRealising the potential of Woolston. The Christchurch south-eastern suburb of Woolston has come under intense scrutiny from two Lincoln University graduate students and their supervisor, resulting in a Ministry of Transport award for the students through the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) and recommendations that could see the suburb develop into a more desirable residential area. Combined with eco-building, this could become a national demonstration area that would lift Christchurch into the top league of sustainable living in New Zealand.AuthorYvonne DensemPeopleJoshua Thompson | Jessica Corkran | Jean-Paul ThullPersonJoshua ThompsonJessica CorkranJean-Paul ThullOrganisationLincoln UniversityDate2010KeywordsWoolstonChartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT)Christchurch Urban Development Strategy (UDS)residential developmentresource managementecological engineeringenvironmental engineeringFilenameRealising the potential of WoolstonSourceLandforms 2010 pages 66-68.DepartmentDepartment of Environmental ManagementFaculty / Research CentreFaculty of Environment, Society & DesignItem Reference0001300
