    Research ProjectLincoln to AntarcticaDescription

Lincoln to Antarctica. As New Zealand’s specialist land-based university, Lincoln’s research studies the land, the people that use it, the ways to protect it, the study of what exists both in it and on it. Antarctica is no exception. There are many facets of polar-related research carried out by the scientists at Lincoln University. From the mammals that poke their noses up through the ice, to the Dry Valleys that serve as a unique laboratory for scientific research, and further on to the human beings that sojourn there for work or tourism, the continent and the oceans that surround it.
