Grapesense technology: a preview of the future of precision viticulture

    Expand/collapse
DescriptionGrapesense technology - a preview of the future of precision viticulture. Acquiring accurate information about canopy density allows viticulturalists to manage a range of real challenges linked to vineyard variability. Lincoln Agritech Limited first released new technologies into this application space in the early 2000’s and continues to explore ways to improve the technology through reducing the unit cost, and by improving the portability of the device and its accessibility to growers throughout New Zealand. Project: Grapesense – a real-time camera-based tool to measure and map the porosity of grapevines. Researchers: Dr Kenji Irie, Dr Ian Woodhead.Corporate AuthorLincoln UniversityPersonK. IrieI.
