    Expand/collapse
DescriptionDrivers and barriers to sustainability in residential buildings. As any immigrant accustomed to central heating, insulation, energy efficient installations and appliances knows, New Zealand homes and offices are cold in winter and expensive to keep warm. It’s little surprise therefore that the average rating given to New Zealand homes on the free online Homestar™ energy efficiency rating tool was a mere 2/10 stars for energy efficiency.
