Be prepared to get your hands dirty on Sunday at Community Day when you dip it into the Lincoln University Soil Society’s mystery box and try to guess, just by touch, what’s in there.
There’s going to be loads of fun and free activities for the whole family from 10am to 2pm on campus, and it’s open to everyone.
It’s organised by Lincoln University and the Lincoln University Students’ Association with the purpose of bringing the community to campus to simply have a great time, and there are lots of our student clubs putting on activities too.
Our Young Farmers Club will be at Community Day with an impressive display of wool fleeces, shearing hand pieces and information about the wool industry in New Zealand.
You can have a free temporary Henna tattoo or your face painted, there’s a petting zoo, street performers Mullet Man and Mim will be entertaining, there are vineyard tours, and you can take home some balloon art.
Or, you can have a tour of Lincoln University’s substantial art collection. And, you can take the opportunity to a look around the Lincoln University Campus.
If all of that makes you a bit hungry, there are food trucks and our own cafes.
See you there.
