Around 500 people were on campus yesterday for the Lincoln University Community Day, organised by the university and the Lincoln University Students’ Association.
There were lines at the face painting and bouncy castles all day, while buskers Mullet Man and Min drew a big audience.
The event featured displays and hands-on activities from the many student clubs on campus, including Young Farmers and the Soil Society, and the petting zoo was a big hit too. There were also Vineyard tours and a guided look at the university’s substantial art collection
The Day, now in its second year, is an opportunity for the whole family to come down and have a great time, and have a look around campus too.
