Lincoln University will host its first New Zealand Finance Colloquium on Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 February, 2019.
The NZFC was introduced in 1996 to promote the discussion, dissemination and development of finance-related research in New Zealand.
NZFC 2019 kicks off with a PhD Symposium on 13 February. Twelve PhD finance students from across the country will present their studies, competing for the PhD Symposium Award for Best PhD Student Paper.
The following two days will feature a series of parallel sessions, wtih around 30 selected papers to be presented in a range of subjects, including:

* Banking
* Behavioural finance
* Capital markets
* Computational finance
* Corporate finance
* Derivatives
* Economics
* Financial planning
* Multinational finance
* Investments
* Islamic finance
* Public finance
* Real estate finance
NZFC presenters have the opportunity to win several Best Paper Awards. Prizes are sponsored by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand (INFINZ), an Auckland Centre for Financial Research (AUT Business School).
