A record crowd didn’t let the rain dampen its spirits at last week’s Garden Party, with 3500 revellers enjoying the music and a host of other activities.
They could also do mechanical bull riding, horizontal bungy and gladiators, plus henna, glitter and hair braiding. There was also a huge range of free food on offer with sausage rolls, hash brown, sausages, bacon, donuts and pancakes up for grabs.
Australian ARIA award winners, Peking Duk, headlined the annual end of lectures event on the sports fields, held by the Lincoln University Students’ Association (LUSA).
Example, Sly Chaos, and Nomad were also on the line-up.
LUSA manager Fiona Kay said the day went really well, with great performances from the artists.
The event was also the most sustainable held so far, with reusable goblets and a full recycling programme backed by an external waste management company.
