Free food and wagging tails were all part of Universities Mental Health Day offerings at Lincoln University today.
Lincoln University has a strong, connected community of staff and students, where the health and wellbeing of others is highly valued, and the Lincoln wellbeing team were emphasising “five ways to wellness”; give, take notice, be active, connect, and keep learning.
There were a host of activities on campus to help students and staff. They could pat a dog, do some colouring, eat some fried bread, home baking, or an apple, have a massage, hug, or have a chat at the student talk tables.
Students from our Food Production class had a hand in producing the apples, which were grown according to organic standards from just over 100 trees.
