Australian ARIA award winners, Peking Duk, will be headlining this year’s Garden Party at Lincoln University on Friday 18 October.
The annual end of lectures event on the sports fields runs from 10am to 4pm. It is held by the Lincoln University Students’ Association (LUSA), and also features acts Example, Sly Chaos, and Nomad on the line-up.
The event will be the most sustainable held so far, with reusable goblets and a full recycling programme backed by an external waste management company.
There will also a Dry Zone within the event with an alcohol free bar and multiple events and activities including henna tattoos, hair braiding and games.
LUSA has engaged an external events company to ensure that the event is run as smoothly and professionally as possible. There will be extensive security on campus, as well as a police presence, and free transport back to Lincoln Township and Riccarton, Christchurch.
