Madison Chamberlain will be sharing a few of the reasons why she chose to study at Lincoln at the Great Lincoln Meet-up at Fiddlesticks Restaurant and Bar on 24 January.
The event is a first for Lincoln and offers a relaxed night, with refreshments, where people considering studying this year can meet lecturers, students and others thinking Lincoln.
Madison has completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in economics and marketing and in 2019 is beginning a Diploma in Business and Sustainability.
After completing year 13 at St Peters College in Gore, she chose to study at Lincoln University because of the small town feel of the campus.
“Everyone is so friendly and approachable at Lincoln, it has meant more opportunities to grow.
"I feel like I have gotten more out of my degree because of the approachable lecturers and small class sizes."
A highlight of her time so far at Lincoln has been trips to China and Brazil as a recipient of Prime Minister’s Scholarships.
