Meteorological Data
CollectionPublications & ResourcesCollection SummaryExamine weather data recorded since the 1890s, and assist with transcribing the commentary through our crowdsourcing option.
The Canterbury Agricultural College Climate Station was one of the official recording stations of New Zealand. Records were taken throughout the year and reports supplied to the Meteorological Department. Monthly reviews of weather conditions and their influence on farming were distributed to the local press and various Government Departments.
This unique climate dataset covers weather recordings from 1928 to 1971 at the Lincoln Climate Station. Canterbury Agricultural College became Lincoln College in 1962. Meteorology at Lincoln College
